No matter how big or small the events are that we get involved in, we like to ensure that we have gone into all the necessary detail to make it the best event possible.  This week we are counting down the days until the Magic Millions Festival of British Eventing at Gatcombe Park and we can’t wait for the action to begin.

All the hard work and preparation starts well in advance and in our role as the PR and Media Team we have been working since the beginning of the year to secure some fantastic features in local, regional, lifestyle and equestrian media and you may have even read about the event in the Telegraph or Sunday Times. When you are having your breakfast on Friday morning make sure you tune into Good Morning Britain for a special appearance from Event Director Peter Phillips and Cross Country Course Designer Captain Mark Phillips, although its going to be an early start for us its going to be brilliant to see the event on ITV!

Over the past few months we have been busy sending drones around the park, launching the first ever equestrian Virtual Media Day, organising radio and tv interviews and creating engaging social media content. Our role over the three days of the event varies hugely, from looking after the accredited media, organising photo shoots and radio interviews, writing stories on top riders and charities who have an association with the event to liaising with videographers and photographers, taking competition winners on course walks as part of their special experience, working closely with the event partners, managing prize givings and an awful lot more!

It’s always a privilege to work alongside the event team at a big event and this is no exception. The Festival is an event for all the family and we hope to see you at Gatcombe Park in just a few days’ time. Keep an eye on our social media channels over the next couple of days to see us in action behind the scenes.
